Kim Maria is an award-winning bellydance performer and instructor based in London and South East England. In the past she has performed in the Scheherezade theatre show as part of the Company of Dreams cast, and now leads two troupes (Habibi Belles and Bellyfunk). She is also a celebrated performer internationally, having performed in Ireland, Germany, Denmark and Canada.

Having studied with many of the best known international performers, Kim Maria is known for the versatility of her performances, from juicy baladi to emotional lyrical / tarab pieces or fiery and passionate drum solos and Latin fusions. She is also known as a proponent of dabke, the Levantine folk dance.

As a teacher, Kim Maria is highly recommended by her students and workshop participants for her clear and thorough instruction, memorable visualisations and the investment she makes in helping dancers achieve their potential.
